Biography


Noah Ambord was born in 2001 and lives in Visperterminen. 
He has been studying church music at the Zurich University of the Arts since 2021 - majoring in organ with Prof. Tobias Willi and improvisation with Prof. Andreas Jost.
Minor subject: harpsichord/general bass with Prof. Michael Biehl, piano with Risch Biert.

He began piano lessons at the age of seven and switched to the organ after three years. He completed his organist training in 2015 and was awarded the "C diploma".
He has been a member of the organist commission OCV since 2019. He has also been conducting the jungiChanteurs project youth choir with Yannick Zennhäusern since autumn 2019.

He currently accompanies choirs and church services in various parishes in Upper Valais. His work as an organist has taken him to the consoles of important churches and instruments in Switzerland and abroad, including Milan Cathedral, St. Jacobi Hamburg, St Katharinen Hamburg, Hofkirche Lucerne, Disentis Abayye, Weingarten, etc.
